Represent myself, my qualifications, experience and membership of professional bodies and associations honestly and also (to the best of my knowledge) the skills, qualifications and experience of any third party to whom I refer any of my clients.
Continually develop professionally in both the theory and practice of Coaching, NLP and DISC.
Represent true levels of status, title, competence and experience in order not to mislead, misrepresent or defraud and recognise my scope of practice and only practise NLP, personal Development Coaching and DISC within the limits of my competency and to my highest possible standards.
Strive to act within an ecological framework to ensure the safety of my client at all times and maintain professional boundaries with all of my clients.
Make no unrealistic claims or implications of the services provided and so represent NLP interventions as an option and at no time as a certain solution for any given problem
Respect legitimate needs and requirements for confidentiality. Keep appropriate and accurate records of my work with clients and store them securely to comply with GDPR UK legislative requirements. Respect the absolute rights of the client’s confidentiality except as expressly permitted by the client or potential client in writing or as required by law. Obtain written permission from any client or potential client before releasing their names as referees / testimonials.
Ensure that every clients` expectations, and the basis on which they will be met, are understood by both parties and that contractual arrangements are not changed without appropriate discussion regarding roles, responsibilities and rights of all parties involved with clients prior to the commencement of any services.
Act within the law and not encourage, assist, or collude with others engaged in unlawful conduct.
Assure consistent quality of Coaching, NLP and DISC regardless of the amount or form of agreed compensation in any relationship.
Refrain from offering professional information or advice that you know to be confidential, misleading or where the accuracy is beyond your competence to assess.
Be fit and healthy to practice both Coaching, NLP and DISC. If not, contingencies are in place should I need to stop until fit, if necessary, clients are offered directed to alternative professionals.
Avoid coaching minors (people who have not yet had their 18th birthday) without the express written consent of parent, guardian or teacher as appropriate.
Respect the client’s right to terminate the Coaching relationship at any point during the process, subject to the provisions of the agreement. I will be alert to indications that the client is no longer benefiting from our coaching and NLP relationship.
Ensure that all advertisements and promotional materials, whether verbal or written, are legal, decent, truthful, honest and in compliance with the requirements of the UK Advertising Standards Authority.
